The United Nations, which was established to facilitate dialogue among nations for
the peaceful resolution of international conflicts and to provide leadership by
promoting a united effort in protecting humanity’s common interests, is in urgent
need for change. The global body needs restructuring if it is to address the challenges
of the 21st century and command the respect of all nations.
